International concerts across Andalusia in 2026

Andalusia hosts one of Europe's densest concentrations of international live music in 2026, with more than 100 confirmed concerts and festival appearances by global headliners spanning every province. From Sting's multi-city swing to David Guetta's exclusive "Monolith Show," the region's open-air venues — Roman quarries, medieval castles, historic plazas, and beachfront stages — draw a staggering roster of talent between March and October. The epicenters are Sevilla's Icónica Fest at the Plaza de España, Marbella's Starlite, Fuengirola's Marenostrum at Castillo Sohail, and the Concert Music Festival at Sancti Petri in Cádiz province. Smaller but high-quality lineups fill Granada, Córdoba, Jerez, Almería, and Huelva.

Sevilla commands the biggest international lineup

Icónica SantaLucía Sevilla Fest (June 4–July 18, Plaza de España) is Andalusia's flagship concert series, and its 2026 sixth edition reads like a festival-season dream. Confirmed international headliners include Sting (July 18 — sold out), Robbie Williams (June 30), Lenny Kravitz (July 1), Maroon 5 (July 9), Jamiroquai (July 16 — billed as the band's only Spain date), The Prodigy (July 17), Moby (July 7), Fatboy Slim (July 14), Marilyn Manson (July 6), Charlotte de Witte (June 20), Marco Carola (June 6), Romeo Santos & Prince Royce (June 25), Juan Luis Guerra (July 5), Rubén Blades (July 15), Yandel Sinfónico (July 11), Mora (July 12), Kany García (June 17), Il Divo (June 27), and Omar Courtz (July 10). Ticket prices start around €45 for general admission, with the all-festival "Abono Icónico" at €500.

Beyond Icónica, Sevilla's stadium circuit adds major dates. Don Omar plays the Estadio La Cartuja on July 18 (sold out), and Alejandro Sanz fills the same 60,000-seat venue on June 6. At the Cartuja Center CITE, Morrissey performed March 16 (sold out, co-produced by Primavera Sound), Suede played March 21, and upcoming dates include Diego Torres (April 14) and Swedish indie-folk artist José González (October 31). Interestelar Sevilla (May 15–16, CAAC) features Crystal Fighters alongside a strong Spanish indie bill. Sevilla also hosts the XXIV Bienal de Flamenco (September 9–October 3), the world's premier flamenco festival, with roughly 50 performances across the city.

Málaga province packs three powerhouse festival series

The Costa del Sol corridor — Málaga city, Fuengirola, and Marbella — runs three overlapping concert series that together program more than 80 nights of music. T

Starlite Occident Marbella (June 19–late August, Cantera de Nagüeles) celebrates its 15th anniversary with a boutique 3,500-seat quarry amphitheater. Confirmed international acts: Lenny Kravitz (June 29), Maroon 5 (July 7), Deep Purple (July 9), John Legend (July 20), Jean-Michel Jarre (July 13), Kool & The Gang (July 23), Diana Krall (July 21), Anastacia (July 14), Rick Astley (July 10), Zucchero (July 28), Ozuna (June 19), Grupo Frontera (July 6), Danny Ocean (July 4), Gloria Trevi (August 24 — her only Spain date), Manuel Turizo (July 30), Gipsy Kings ft. Nicolas Reyes (July 3), Hauser (August 12), Gente de Zona (August 5), Elvis Crespo (July 11), Yandel Sinfónico (July 18), Mora (July 17), Carlos Rivera (July 22), and Alan Parsons (June 30). General tickets start at approximately €49, with VIP from €120.

Marenostrum Fuengirola (April 25–September, Castillo Sohail, 18,000 capacity) hosts Sting (July 13), Romeo Santos & Prince Royce (June 26), Underworld + Sven Väth (August 8), Gipsy Kings (August 9), and the multi-day Sun and Thunder Festival (August 27–29) featuring Germany's Avantasia (their only Spain date), Finland's Lordi, and power-metal acts Primal Fear and Destruction. Major Spanish names like Alejandro Sanz, La Oreja de Van Gogh, and El Último de la Fila fill out the calendar.

In Málaga city itself, André Rieu played two nights at the Palacio de Deportes Martín Carpena in January. La Malagueta bullring hosts Italy's Il Volo (July 19) and Colombia's Silvestre Dangond (July 23). The Brunch Electronic Festival runs five Saturdays (April 4–May 2) at Auditorio Cortijo de Torres with Paco Osuna and the Netherlands' Franky Rizardo.

Two major electronic festivals round out the province. Dreambeach Costa del Sol (July 31–August 1, Vélez-Málaga — relocated from Almería) headlines David Guetta performing an exclusive "Monolith Show" with 3D projections, plus Sweden's Eric Prydz, Switzerland's Luciano, France's Nico Moreno, and the UK's Lady Wax B2B Stanton Warriors making their Spain debut. Weekend Beach Festival (July 9–11, Torre del Mar) brings Puerto Rico's Myke Towers UK's Kapo to a beachfront stage.

Cádiz province rivals Málaga with three distinct festival circuits

The Concert Music Festival (July 10–August 17, Sancti Petri, Chiclana de la Frontera) is Cádiz province's marquee series. International headliners: Sting (July 12), ZZ Top (July 25), Chayanne (August 1), Manuel Turizo + Mau y Ricky (July 31), Carlos Rivera (July 24), Ara Malikian (July 26), Helloween (August 6 — with Spanish metal legends Obús), and Elvis Crespo (per the broader circuit). Notable Spanish acts include Malú, Hombres G, Pablo Alborán, and Lola Índigo.

In Jerez de la Frontera, the Tío Pepe Festival (July 4–August 14, Bodegas González Byass) offers concerts inside a working sherry bodega. Its 2026 international highlights are Deep Purple (July 10 — one of only three Spain dates on their "Mad in Europe" tour), The Corrs (August 13 — their only Andalusia date), and Elvis Crespo (July 9).

Other Cádiz-province events include Puro Latino Fest (July 23–25, El Puerto de Santa María) with Puerto Rico's Myke Towers and Ñengo Flow, the single-day No Sin Música (August 15, Cádiz) headlined by Love of Lesbian, and Cabo de Plata (June 27–29, Barbate) with Italy's Talco and a predominantly Spanish urban lineup. The city of Cádiz's Muelle Reina Victoria programs the "Música del Mar" summer series, and the Gran Teatro Falla hosts a jazz series including New York's Lakecia Benjamin Quartet (May 28).

Granada blends Britpop, classical prestige, and techno at altitude

Sting visits Granada' Plaza de Toros on July 15 as part of the "1001 Músicas – CaixaBank" series (tickets €49–€176). But the city's most distinctive international offering is the Degusta Fest (May 15–16, Fermasa, Armilla) which packs a stunning British and American indie bill: Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Ash, and California's Redd Kross all perform on May 16, with Spain's Hinds and Lori Meyers on May 15. Day tickets run €66 general, €99 VIP.

The 75th Granada International Festival of Music and Dance (late June–mid-July) is one of Spain's most prestigious classical events, staging 136 performances of symphonic, operatic, ballet, and flamenco works in venues including the Alhambra's Palace of Charles V and the Generalife Theatre. International orchestras and dance companies are confirmed, though the full 2026 program is still being finalized.

Sun & Snow Weekend (April 18–19, Sierra Nevada, 2,650m altitude) is an electronic festival at the ski resort featuring international DJs including Miss Kittin, DVS1, Legowelt, Matrixxman, Frankie Bones, and Kangding Ray. Granada Sound returns in September with its lineup still to be announced.

Córdoba's Guitar Festival draws world-class instrumentalists

The 45th Festival de la Guitarra de Córdoba (June 25–July 11) is one of the world's most important guitar events. Its 2026 program spans three venues and includes American jazz-fusion legend Stanley Clarke (July 5, Gran Teatro), American funk virtuoso MonoNeon (ex-Prince collaborator, July 6), world-renowned flamenco guitarist Paco Peña (July 1), Cuban-American classical master Manuel Barrueco (July 2, Teatro Góngora), and Grammy-winning Scottish classical guitarist David Russell (July 9). The outdoor Teatro de la Axerquía hosts nightly pop and rock concerts during the festival.

The Córdoba Live / Los Califas concert cycle at the Plaza de Toros Los Califas runs from June through December. Its biggest international draw is Puerto Rico's Chayanne (July 10), alongside Lebanese-Armenian violin virtuoso Ara Malikian (September 12) and top Spanish acts like Hombres G, Dani Martín, La Oreja de Van Gogh and Antonio Orozco.

Almería pivots after Dreambeach's departure but retains strong festivals

The headline news for Almería is that Dreambeach has relocated to Vélez-Málaga after 11 editions, but the province retains a busy festival calendar. The Cooltural Fest (August 20–23, Recinto Ferial de Almería) — marketed as Europe's "most inclusive festival"— features Norway's Kakkmaddafakka alongside major Spanish headliners David Bisbal, Hombres G, and Ana Torroja. Puro Latino Fest Almería brings Puerto Rico's Anuel AA, Myke Towers, and Ñengo Flow.

Juergas Rock Festival headlines Australia's Pendulum and Sweden's The Baboon Show. The charming Flamin'Go Beach Festival (May 8–10, Cabo de Gata) features American garage-punk bands The Briefs and Th' Losin Streaks alongside Denmark's Powersolo. The Murmura Alpujarra Festival (May 29–31) brings the UK's The Molotovs to mountain villages. Chayanne plays the Plaza de Toros de Almería on July 8, and El Último de la Fila performs in Roquetas de Mar on May 16.

Huelva and Jerez fill niche but growing roles

Huelva province's international offerings remain more limited, with the Doñana Music Experience (Matalascañas, summer dates TBA) as the main concert series L — its 2026 lineup is still pending. Islasónica (Isla Cristina) features Italy's New Candys and France's Mad Foxes and Exonvaldes. The Senderos de Música festival (June 25–27, Cortegana, Sierra de Aracena) is a free event in the mountains.

The Festival de Jerez (February–March, 30th edition) remains one of the world's premier flamenco events, held at the Teatro Villamarta and other venues. While focused on flamenco rather than pop or rock, it draws an international audience and features artists of global renown.

Conclusion

Andalusia in 2026 functions as a de facto festival region rather than a collection of isolated cities. Sting alone plays four different Andalusian venues in a single week, and acts like Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, and Deep Purple each hit two or more stages across the region. The gravitational center is the June–August window, when Sevilla's Icónica Fest, Marbella's Starlite, Fuengirola's Marenostrum, and Chiclana's Concert Music Festival run almost simultaneously, creating an unbroken corridor of international music along the Guadalquivir and Costa del Sol. The genre range is exceptionally wide— from Jamiroquai's acid jazz and David Guetta's stadium EDM to Stanley Clarke's jazz-fusion and the Guitar Festival of Córdoba's classical masters. For concertgoers, this density means that a two-week trip in early-to-mid July can realistically cover Sting, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, John Legend, Jean-Michel Jarre, The Prodigy, and Jamiroquai without leaving a single Spanish region. Lineups for several festivals (Starlite, Marenostrum, Weekend Beach, Granada Sound) continue to be expanded, so additional international names are likely before summer arrives.
