Malaga's nightlife is notorious and word is slowly spreading throughout Europe. Malaga's climate (warmest big city in Europe) and size (population) work in its favour. Although a tourist city, they are outnumbered by thousands of locals enjoying themselves in Malaga. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days. This combination makes Malaga unique, 365 days a year. It should be noted that the nightlife doesn't start before 24:00. Most nightclubs do not open until 23:00 or 24:00. Since most of the venues are in the centre, and Malaga's old town is compact, you can go nightclub hopping.
Live music venues are mainly located in the historic Old Town. ZZ Pub has live music every day, others only on certain days.
